Goen.J is a clothing line created by Korean designer Jong Go Woun. Soon after graduating from Studio Bercot, in Paris, she launched her label with a spring-summer 2012 collection, and has continued to grow since. Jong Go Woun's collections always seem to have some interesting layering or use of texture, with an underlying mix of athletic and romantic quirkiness. This season is by far my favorite, filled with layered cake like inspiration. Her techniques are reminiscent of Issey Miyake's love for pleats. I adore the voluminous pleated wing dresses, blouses, asymmetrical shorts, and the lace tape bomber with contrast ribbon. I also love the way she styled each look with a contradicting rubber sport sandal. Currently her collection can be found at Opening Ceremony in the U.S.
